Physical Counter Accessibility
The route to all ticket counters features completely step-free
access
with
smooth, level surfaces.
Where level changes exist between waiting areas and service
points, we
provide
gentle ramps (1:20 gradient)
with non-slip surfaces and handrails. All pathways maintain a
minimum
width
of
1.5m and are kept free of
obstacles, with tactile guidance strips leading to each service
point.
Counter Design Features
Every ticket counter is designed with a dual-height service
surface - the
lower
section at 85cm
accommodates wheelchair users, while providing 70cm clearance
underneath
for
comfortable approach.
The workspace extends 50cm in depth, allowing easy document
handling and
payment
processing. Each
counter features a communication window positioned at 1.2m
height, with
an
additional lower
speaking slot at wheelchair eye level.
