Detailed Access Routes & Entry Points

Every approach to the station features completely step-free access with carefully designed gradients not exceeding 1:20. The pedestrian pathways are minimum 2 meters wide with non-slip surfaces and clear of any obstacles. Tactile paving guides mark all crossing points and directional changes. Where the platform level differs from the entrance, we provide both lifts and ramps - our lifts accommodate all wheelchair sizes and include audio announcements and tactile buttons.

Comprehensive Platform Amenities

  • Ergonomically designed benches at 8-meter intervals, featuring armrests and backrests for support.
  • Dedicated wheelchair spaces (2.5m x 2.5m) are provided next to benches.
  • The entire platform edge features tactile warning strips and is level with vehicle floors for gap-free boarding.

Enhanced Information Systems & Visibility

Digital information displays are positioned at 1.2m height throughout the station, ensuring perfect visibility from a seated position. Real-time arrival boards use high-contrast text (minimum 30mm height) and are located at all main decision points. Clear lines of sight to approaching vehicles are maintained with no advertising or vending machines in critical viewing areas. All platform signage follows accessibility guidelines with pictograms and raised tactile text.

Designated Accessible Spaces in Vehicles

Every bus and tram features two dedicated wheelchair spaces in the middle section, directly opposite the double doors for easy access. These spaces are clearly marked with the international wheelchair symbol and contrasting floor markings. Each space includes a call button for assistance, horizontal and vertical support rails, and a backrest panel. Priority seating areas with extra legroom are located adjacent to these spaces, marked with clear pictograms and distinctive upholstery.

Integrated Accessibility Features

Our station incorporates a comprehensive network of accessibility features including: audio-visual announcements for all services, induction loops at information points, tactile maps at all entrances, non-reflective surfaces to reduce glare, and consistent LED lighting (minimum 100 lux) across all areas. Emergency help points with video communication are positioned every 20 meters at wheelchair-accessible height, featuring large, tactile buttons and visual confirmation of call connection.

Physical Counter Accessibility

The route to all ticket counters features completely step-free access with smooth, level surfaces. Where level changes exist between waiting areas and service points, we provide gentle ramps (1:20 gradient) with non-slip surfaces and handrails. All pathways maintain a minimum width of 1.5m and are kept free of obstacles, with tactile guidance strips leading to each service point.

Counter Design Features

Every ticket counter is designed with a dual-height service surface - the lower section at 85cm accommodates wheelchair users, while providing 70cm clearance underneath for comfortable approach. The workspace extends 50cm in depth, allowing easy document handling and payment processing. Each counter features a communication window positioned at 1.2m height, with an additional lower speaking slot at wheelchair eye level.

Alternative Service Options

When main counters are busy, dedicated side counters provide the same accessibility features in a more private setting. Our mobile service team can also process tickets anywhere in the station using portable devices, bringing the service directly to passengers who may find it difficult to approach the counter.
